Swim to Lower your Blood Pressure

swim to lower blood pressureA study was published recently in the American Journal of Cardiology that connects aquatic exercise with good health benefits. The study measured blood pressure results of a group of older adults with previous sedentary lifestyles after they were involved in a 12 week program of regular swimming for exercise against the results of a control group. There were significant decreases of systolic blood pressure observed in the swimmers.

Swimming pools have always been a source of recreation but continued research will likely prove it to be an important product for sustaining good health also. Read more about this study by clicking here.
