Water Features for Your Swimming Pool

Water Features

Having a swimming pool in one’s backyard is a luxury in and of itself. An enjoyment that can turn the most drab day into a day filled with joy and comfort.

However, your pool doesn’t need to be exclusively for immersion. It can be a work of art. Especially, if water features are integrated into your pool’s design.

What kind of water features are there available to spruce up your backyard pool?

There are mainly two themes to the types of modifications you can do.

1) Pressurized Water Movement

This includes features such as fountains, jets, and bubblers. Fountains shoot water up either vertically or diagonally and the water then spreads over a larger area.

Jets work like fountains only under water. They have highly pressured water spouts and can be combined with different patterns to make spectacular sights.

Bubblers are the softer water jets. Their main purpose is to simply feel good when you’re standing on top of them or walking next to them. Bubblers work perfectly in hot tubs.

2) Flowing Water Movement

These are things such as waterfalls, water walls, and spillover spas.

These are features that move water from a higher level down to a lower level. This can be achieved in various ways (such as rain effects, water walls, simple waterfalls, spillovers, and more) with stunning effects as a result.
